It's alive, finally

My website has been a long time in the making. Well, rather in the thinking. I haven't really taken action to actually work on it. I have an old Wordpress site that I just ditched. I tried Elementor but they just seem so blaoted. I did a couple of iterations with Lovable and Cursor but decided to go with a "traditional" setup where I do need to do the work myself. I want to have better control, I want to learn, and the site is pretty simple so why bloat it with AI slop. I have done some wed dev in the the past but can't say I'm too comfortable in this domain. What better a time than now with Claude helping me out as I go. I'm using Next.js and Vercel. Thanks to my buddy Mikko for the recommendation. The basic setup is deployed, this first post out, and I am excited. Will be doing some styling next, adding support for images, and then writing some thoughts and more.
